Dr. Howard Moon and Dr. Pauline Nguyen met in dental school where they graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, in California. After practicing for several years in Tulsa, OK, they decided to settle in North Dallas to be closer to family. With a vision to enhance the dental experience, they established “Kindred Smiles” to offer a space that is welcoming, personable, and patient-focused. Today, through their dental practice in McKinney, they place a high value on quality and honest care, striving to transform the common perception of dentists and make every visit a positive experience.

I showed up a few minutes early to ensure all my information was given, and I was met by a polite and friendly front office staff.   I can’t believe I’m actually about to write out a review of loving a dentist but this is why the phrase never say never exists. My husband and I started to come to kindred smiles about a year ago. Prior to that first time visit I hadn’t been to a dentist for years due to being embarrassed by the last one I had went to (before that I was always consistent about checkups). That, plus Covid, and naturally the years went by without a check up. My husband longer, and we originally needed to come in due to an issue he was having. Not once were they deeming or put us down for the amount of time that went by. They only cared about getting us to a healthy place. I just went for a 6 month check up which went well and am no longer worried about staying consistent. I don’t have plans to move but if I ever do I will drive whatever distance is necessary to keep doctor moon as my dentist.

  This is a wonderful practice, and I am so happy to have found it. The location is located in a new part of McKinney, and it is perfect with plenty of parking in the front and the back of the plaza. The office itself is just beautiful, dreamy, clean, zen and aesthetic which is all everything I look for. Dr. Pauline Nguyen is very personable, soft, kind, knowledgable and professional. The staff is also very professional and kind. You will get taken care of, with plenty of time to ask questions or inquire about any concerns you may have.
